Why won’t your dog come back when you call them, well do you take your dog for a walk, wait for him to do his business and then walk straight back home. Most dogs don’t get adequate exercise and part of the reason for that is stated above. This is one of the reasons why dogs don’t come back when called. Try taking your dog for a longer walk, allow him off the lead for a while but when you call him bend down and open your arms when he comes back praise him by cuddling him and give him a treat if you want to, this way the dog will know that he is being called back to you for praise not retribution.
